  22. Minimum Requirements

  25. To use Ativa Online Time for Windows, you 
  26. must have the following:
  27.  
  28. *    IBM-compatible PC.
  29. *    Windows 95 with IE 4 or later 
  30.       or Windows 98 r later or NT 4.0 or later
  31. *    Winsock 1.1 API compliant networking  
  32.      package (not needed for serial connection)
  33. *    An account with an ISP (Internet  
  34.      Service Provider) or an Internet-style  
  35.      network (for online updates).
  36. *   A  modem (9600bps or higher recommended)

  43. To install Ativa Online Time, follow these directions:
  44.  
  45. 1.   Exit any applications you are running.
  46.  
  47. 2.   If you are installing from a software archive,
  48.      double-click on it to start the Setup program.
  49.  
  50.      If you are installing from diskette, insert the
  51.      Ativa Online Time diskette 1 into drive A: of your PC.
  52.      Then select Run... from the Start menu, enter
  53.      A:Setup.exe, and click OK.
  54.  
  55. 3.   Read the Welcome screen, then click Next.
  56.  
  57. 4.   Specify a directory to install Ativa Online Time, 
  58.       then click Next.
  59.  
  60.      To upgrade an older version of Ativa Online Time, 
  61.      select your current Ativa Online Time directory. 
  62.  
  63. 5.   Verify that the settings are correct,
  64.      then click Next (or use the Back button if you need
  65.      to go back and make changes).
  66.  
  67. 6.  If you are installing from diskette, you are
  68.      prompted to insert additional diskettes into drive A.
  69.  
  70. 7.  Ativa Online Time is installed in the destination directory,
  71.  
  72. Note:   Always keep the Help file in the same directory 
  73.         as the executable (.exe).

  80. The first time you run Ativa Online Time, 
  81. you should edit some of the configuration 
  82. information in order to be able to receive 
  83. online updates.

  85. Select the Configure button on the main
  86. toolbar.

  88. Click on the Web Update tab
  89. Choose your Dialup Connection from
  90. the available list.
